Understand your options
A POA for sale, purchase, management or another property-specific transaction may need a precise scope and documents accepted by the relevant land authority.
Authority for company formation, banking or management should identify the entities, signatories, authorised transactions and any limitations.
A carefully defined mandate may be suitable for representation in a particular matter. The receiving institution's requirements should be checked before signing.
How it works
Describe the transaction, the location, the principal, the proposed attorney and whether you are in or outside the UAE.
Confirm the accepted language and format, supporting IDs, any legal translation, and whether a government or licensed private notary is appropriate.
Where suitable, arrange professional drafting/review, the notarial application and any later official attestation or translation. Official authorities issue the certified document.
Questions before you proceed
Some official UAE digital POA and document authentication services offer remote processes, subject to eligibility, identity and authority requirements. The relevant emirate or service provider determines the process.
Not necessarily. Notarisation authenticates the document/signature through an authorised channel, while attestation may be a separate step to confirm official documents for another authority or country.
It may be possible, but the appropriate procedure can involve foreign notarisation, legalisation or consular attestation. The receiving UAE authority's requirements should be confirmed first.
Some property transactions may be carried out through a valid, sufficiently specific POA, subject to Dubai Land Department or relevant authority requirements. Generic mandates may not be accepted.
No. CSPzone offers independent document coordination and referrals where needed. Notarisation is performed only by an authorised notary or the relevant official service.
CSPzone is not a Dubai Court, government notary or law firm. Legal drafting/advice that requires authorisation must be provided by suitably qualified professionals, and official notarisation is performed by the relevant authority.
